What is a Certified End-of-Life Doula?

End-of-Life Doulas are non-medical companions to the dying and their families. They provide a wide range of holistic services, including physical, emotional, spiritual and practical support.

 

ACE End-of-Life Doula is trained and certified to work with families from initial diagnosis through bereavement. We provide a supportive presence to ensure the best end-of-life experiences for both patient and their loved ones. We provide resources, education and friendship for those who accept and embrace dying as a period of life rather than just an ending. This period can bring challenges and joys, sorrows and opportunities, and ACE End-of-Life Doula adds a layer of support for both the dying person and their family to help them live life to the fullest. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate and proactive support to ensure the best quality of life possible.
